PLA GOONG (CURRY SAUCED GRILLED SHRIMPS) – Food Connects People

Ingredients
1.25 kg shrimps (around a 100 shrimps, already cleaned, shells removed)
Seasoning: 8 cloves of garlic smashed Juice of 3 limes 3 green onions chopped finely (also the green part) ½ bunch of parsley 3 big spoons of fresh ginger root smashed
¼ small spoon of peperoncino
1 glass of olive oil 4 small spoons of curry powder
1 ½ small spoon of salt
Mango Avocado Salad: 1 iceberg salad 2 mango cut in thin long slices 2 avocado cut in thin long slices Juice of 1 lime 2 big spoons of olive oil 1/3 small spoon salt
¼ small spoon of black pepper
Preparation
Leave shrimps in the seasoning for at least 30 minutes (in the fridge). Cook them on a large preheated pan on strong fire, mix continuously and cook them for 4-5 minutes. Be careful not to overcook shrimps, otherwise they get hard. Finally decorate them with mango-avocado salad.
