FOOD CONNECTS PEOPLE SUMMER FESTIVAL – Food Connects People

Food Connects People is celebrating its first birthday in the mountains of Trentino! It will be a big summer festival in which all of us will be the active creators of the festival. We will be in various hubs collaborating with each other and self-organizing to create a beautiful festival in a free and collective way.

Different hubs will focus on different aspects of the festival. Cocktails and drinks, barbecue corners, finger foods, the huge Food Connects People birthday cake, photography, music, activities with the kids and so on. There will be so many options for our creative contribution to the festival!

Our event is collocated in the Festival della Complessità, which is a nation-wide Italian festival for disseminating a mindful way of living in today’s ever-connected world.

Here is the complete program:

17th June Saturday 14:30 pm: meeting up at Casa Magnola in Segonzano

17th June Saturday afternoon: forming up groups and organizing the festival together

17th June Saturday evening and night: celebrating together, eating, drinking, dancing

18th June Sunday morning: a good-bye breakfast, cleaning and leaving the mountain hut

18th June Sunday early afternoon: trekking together and visiting the pyramids of Segonzano

How to participate?

The Saturday’s festival is open to everybody and costs 10 €. Instead, if you want to sleep overnight in the mountain house, please write us ([email protected]) to ask for availability and reserve your place. We will confirm your reservation only when you pay for the sleeping fee (20 €).

Note that it’s a members-only festival! If you are not a member yet, you can do it online or you can do it on site on Saturday when you arrive.

Flash News for new members! Who will become a member at the summer festival will get a birthday discount of 10 € for the participation.

Payment details

If you are participating only for Saturday without sleeping overnight, you can pay your participation in cash on site (10 €).

If you reserve a place to sleep in the mountain house, you will need to make a bank transfer before the event (participation fee plus sleeping fee in total 30 € for old members, 20 € for new members)
